| This Dallas County has declared a disaster for public health and issued an order banning mass gatherings of 500 or greater. The county also strongly discourages gatherings of 250 or more people, as well as strongly discouraging gatherings of 10+ people of high-risk groups, such as the elderly and those with chronic conditions. This declaration and order will remain in effect through 11 a.m. March 20. In addition to the order on mass gatherings, the county emphasizes the importance to maintain a social distance of 6 feet. |
