Parking and Safety Improvements

PARKING
Recently several parking issues have been submitted to the HOA Board:

  • Many homeowners are frustrated with the increase of cars parked on streets.
  • Parking on the sidewalk continues to be a problem.
  • Large, commercial vehicles have been parked on the street.

Parking reminders:

  • Please park in your driveway whenever possible rather than on the street.
  • If parking on the street, be aware of the placement of your car to ensure neighbors can easily back out of their driveway.
  • Parking rules from page 8 of the Copperfield Homeowners Manual are attached below.

NO PARKING SIGNS AND VIOLATIONS

  • No Parking signs have been updated by the City throughout the neighborhood on existing poles, including near the entrance from Royal Lane.
  • To report parking violations use the 311 Mobile App  or visit the  311 website. The city will send out parking enforcement and also track if it is a on-going parking violation.
  • Nobody wants to have their car towed! Whenever possible and safe, residents are encouraged to try to contact the Copperfield resident with the car tor leave a note on the car before reporting it to the city to be towed..

CRIME WATCH AND VIP

  • New Crime Watch signs have been installed throughout the neighborhood providing a visible safety  message in several locations.
  • Signs announcing the presence of Volunteers In Patrol have been added below speed limit signs.

A HUGE thank you to Darlene Pariani who manages our VIP program and worked with the City on the signs to enhance the safety of our neighborhood.
